Benniman has won a new £5.4 million contract at Prologis Apex Park in Daventry, Northamptonshire.

The main contractor will fit out DC9, a recently constructed 357,221 sq ft logistics and distribution facility, on behalf of the UK arm of global tyre giant, Hankook.

The 22-week project will see the division of a state-of-the-art warehouse unit, into three sections, creating space for the storage and delivery of Hankook tyres throughout the UK.

Existing offices will be extended to facilitate the delivery of new, high specification office space, meeting rooms and breakout areas.

The fit out follows Benniman’s completion of base build works earlier this year, on behalf of the UK’s leading developer of logistics property, Prologis.

DC9 is a highly sustainable unit, built to BREEAM ‘Excellent’, is EPC A rated, and certificated under the Plant Mark scheme and Social Values Portal.

Patrick Barrett, Construction Director at Benniman said: “It’s fantastic to follow-up our construction of DC9 with the delivery of a high quality fit out for Hankook Tyre UK. The project will support the company’s future growth and expansion through the creation of new purpose-built spaces that meet its operational needs. We’re looking forward to completing work in early 2025.”
