Benniman hosts college CPD site visit at Indurent Park Lichfield
Benniman has welcomed staff from South Staffordshire College to Indurent Park Lichfield for a continuing professional development (CPD) session, supporting education and skills development within the construction sector.
The session was attended by 15 lecturers and technicians from the College’s construction department and explored the need for large-scale industrial and logistics developments such as Indurent Park Lichfield.
Benniman is delivering the first phase of the 432,000 sq ft industrial and logistics scheme, comprising three BREEAM ‘Excellent’ units ranging from 46,090 sq ft to 77,537 sq ft, due for completion in Q3 2026.

Attendees heard from David Lee, contracts manager; Jos Brownlie, building services manager; Liam Flynn, project manager; and Andy McNair, HSQE director, who outlined how Benniman manages the delivery of complex construction schemes from inception to completion.
Andy McNair said: “Engaging with educators is incredibly important to us. By opening our sites and sharing real-world experience, we can help bridge the gap between academic learning and the realities of working in construction, while also highlighting the importance of safety, collaboration and best practice on live projects.”
The visit builds on Benniman’s commitment to developing the next generation of construction professionals, following the announcement of a strategic partnership with Heart of Worcestershire College in 2024 and recognition at last year’s Skills West Midlands & Warwickshire Awards.
