Benniman passes 1m sq ft mark at Worcester Six Business Park

Work has completed on the construction of a new 278,048 sq ft bespoke manufacturing facility at Worcester Six Business Park for leading commercial property developer Stoford.

The project takes Benniman’s total delivery at Worcester Six to more than 1 million sq ft of high specification accommodation, since being appointed as main construction partner for the park’s first two buildings in 2016.

The state-of-the-art facility has been pre-sold to global manufacturer MiTek and is the first to be constructed at the southern extension of the 72-hectare site.

All units delivered by Benniman have been constructed under the BREEAM Communities framework, reflecting the quality and sustainability standards that have become a feature of the scheme.

Steven Smith, Managing Director of Benniman, said: “We’re proud to have delivered more than one million square feet at Worcester Six and to continue our longstanding partnership with Stoford.

“Since the early stages of the development, Benniman has played a key role in bringing forward high-quality, sustainable space that supports business growth and job creation in Worcestershire.

“This latest project is another important step in the continued expansion of Worcester Six and we look forward to supporting its ongoing success.”

The unit was designed by UMC architects.
