Benniman reaches practical completion at Barberry’s Tournament Fields
Benniman has completed construction of a high-specification manufacturing and distribution unit at Tournament Fields Business Park in Warwick for Barberry Industrial.
The new 92,246 sq ft Grade A unit – known as Barberry Midbox 92 – has been built on the final available plot at the thriving business park off Junction 15 of the M40. As well as delivering the base build, Benniman has also completed the CAT A fit-out of the building, providing high-quality space for future occupiers.
Designed by Corstorphine + Wright, the unit has been built to BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ and EPC A+ standards. It provides electric vehicle charging provision and includes a steel frame engineered to support rooftop PV panels, with capacity for up to 100% coverage.
Barberry 92 is the latest project delivered by Benniman on behalf of Barberry Industrial, which combined, totals 620,000 sq ft.
Projects include Barberry 57, a 56,800 sq ft unit in Aston, Birmingham, and the Wolf Pack, a 223,500 sq ft speculative development of three units at Hilton Cross Business Park near Wolverhampton.
Tim Mills, Procurement Director at Benniman said: “Barberry Midbox 92 is a great addition to Tournament Fields and we’re pleased to have delivered another high-quality facility for Barberry Industrial. Having delivered several successful projects together, we’ve developed a real understanding of Barberry’s approach, which helps us consistently deliver the quality and certainty they need across their developments.”
