Work completes on Greenlight Urban’s 192,556 sq ft scheme in Redditch
Benniman has reached PC on a new 192,556 sq ft industrial/warehouse development in Redditch, on behalf of Greenlight Urban, a joint venture partnership between Delancey and Coltham Developments.
Greenlight Redditch has redeveloped a former manufacturing site into four high-quality units, ranging from 10,000–67,800 sq ft.
The scheme has been built to industry leading sustainability standards, achieving BREEAM Outstanding and EPC A+. All units contain photovoltaic solar roof panels and EV charging provision and are net carbon zero.
In addition, Benniman delivered the refurbishment of a 61,800 sq ft unit on the estate for an existing occupier, including a 2,200 sq ft office extension while they were in full operation.
“Greenlight Redditch is an impressive new development that reflects a shared commitment to exceptional environmental performance,” said Tim Mills at Benniman.
“We are very pleased to have completed our second scheme for Greenlight Urban and are now looking ahead to the delivery of two further projects together at sites in Heathrow and Reading.”
