Stoford appoints Benniman to deliver 278,048 sq ft unit at Worcester Six
Benniman has been appointed by Stoford to build a state-of-the-art facility at Worcester Six Business Park.
The 278,048 sq ft unit, designed for a leading global manufacturer, will be the first building constructed at the southern extension of the 72-hectare site.
The project will see Benniman continue to deliver under the BREEAM Communities framework, reflecting both the quality and sustainability that has become a hallmark of the Worcester Six development. The unit, which has already been pre-sold to MiTek, has been designed by UMC Architects and is scheduled for completion in Q4 2025.
Benniman’s involvement at Worcester Six dates back to 2016, when the company was initially appointed as the main construction partner for the first two buildings on the park.
Since then, Benniman has played a key role in the estate’s expansion. By the time the new unit is complete, it will have delivered over 1 million sq ft of high-specification accommodation that has supported hundreds of jobs in Worcestershire.
Steven Smith, managing director of Benniman, commented: “We are proud to further our longstanding relationship with Stoford and look forward to delivering another high-calibre building at Worcester Six Business Park.
“This project reflects our commitment to excellence and sustainability, and we are excited to contribute to the continued success and growth of this exceptional development.”
