Work starts on Logicor’s 100,000 sq ft Socius Works

Benniman has begun work on a 100,262 sq ft industrial development at Socius Works in Smethwick on behalf of Logicor, a leading owner, manager, and developer of European logistics real estate.

The project will see the redevelopment of the site currently occupied into a high-quality, sustainable logistics facility.

Benniman will undertake demolition and remediation of the existing site and construction of a new BREEAM Excellent industrial unit featuring best in class fit out and a social values measurement.

Benniman has previously completed the successful delivery of Logicor Park Daventry, a £48 million logistics development comprising three high-specification units totalling 800,000sf
